The water temp will be posted a week in advance on the website. As always we highly recommend a wetsuit as they keep you warmer, faster and safer for the swim. You can also rent one for a day if you don't want to buy one. See wwww.wetsuitrentals.com

USAT officials will be present in transition and the bike course so you can be sure they will hand out violations that will increase your time. To avoid the most common violations:
1. Ride on the right side of your lane
2. Pass on the left of the cyclist in front, never on the right
3. Keep 3 bike lengths between you and the cyclist in front of you
4. If you enter the draft zone of another cyclist, compete your pass within 15 seconds
5. If passed, drop out of the drafting zone to the rear before attempting to repass

The Transition Area will open at 6:00 A.M on the 19th. Please remember to have your bike in a rack, and all non-essential gear outside the fence of the transition area.

For family benefit, we have a 12 and under kids1/4 mile run, scheduled again this year which will like start at 8:45 A.M. Gather the kids near the finish line and be ready for a great finish award.

Proceeds from the event this year will go to Mountain Top Ministries School in Haiti. Last year we were able to assit in purchasing a new pickup truck to transfer volunteers and building a new high school. Two years ago we helped purchase electrical generators for the school and the Medical Clinic. Without assistance from individual and corporate sponsors, no chidren in this area of Haiti would have any opportunity for an education.

Look forward to seeing you here soon.
