January 30, 2012 Several swimmers on a local high school team have volunteered to swim for any teams that might be looking for a swimmer. December 21, 2011 All new swim start this year. We will have an Elite Start Wave go together, and all other swimmers 2 at a time every 5 seconds based on seeded swim time you record on the entry.

December 21, 2011 Camping at Hawthorn Park is available on a first-come, first-serve basis this year. The park offers Wooded campground, 75 electrical hookups including 7 pull-thrus, 10 primitive/tent sites. Electrical sites - $18 a night, primitive sites - $12 a night, call 812-462-3225 for more information.

December 21, 2011 Open Water Swimming will be available at Hawthorn Park starting Friday April 29th at 6 PM, and continuing Fridays. You need to be a member of the Terre Haute Triathlon Club, which is only $30 per year. Excellent opportunity to get in some practice on the actual race course. See Terre Haute Tri Club to join.
